Plaster Used:
Venetian Plaster tinted to desired color
Tips:
Check and recheck measurements before and during all projects
When Burnishing it is best to hold your tool at a deep angle. Your palm should almost be touching the wall
Step 1: Fill holes and prepare room by taping off ceiling, doors and trim.
Step 2: Using a flat paint tinted to desired color, mix one teaspoon of CE Grit Fortifier and shake well. Roll out entire room and let dry. This will add grit for your plaster to adhere to.
Step 3: Using a spatula, apply thin coats in a multi-directional patch-work over the surface; imagine yourself creating peaks and then valleys. ( When two people are working, one creates the peaks and the other will fill in the valleys). This makes an even pattern of cross-hatching. Continue until all of the desired area is covered. Let Dry.
Step 4: Repeat step 3 to completion.
Step 5: Apply CE's Burnishing wax in the same manner as step 3 and let dry.
Step 6: Burnish by rubbing the spatula over the surface at a shallow angle back and forth. This will create a glass like finish. There is no need to add a protective coat because it was already done in step 5.
