Join instructor Pascal Amblard as he teaches students how to render this beautiful panel, including two colorful parrots poised on a decorative vase adorned with fruit, which rests inside an elegant marble niche. Students will learn to use a cartoon to trace the niche based on illusion perspective techniques, render faux yellow sienna marble, and create trompe l'oeil effects such as faux moldings, creating depth in the niche and volume on the vase. Approximate student panel size will be 42" x 70". Please note that the actual class panel may vary slightly from the image depicted, based on the discretion of the instructor.

Borghese Temple
Below are some samples of the artwork created in the Borghese Temple class.
Join master muralist Pascal Amblard for this terrfiic 3-day mural workshop. Students will learn various techniques to render their own full-scale mural on canvas. Lessons covered in this workshop include including image transfer, painting skies, Italian pine trees, lily pond with reflected water, and architectural elements. The main composition will be surrounded by a simple yet elegant trompe l'oeil stone window. The main architectural element in the mural is based on the neo-classical Temple of Diana from Rome's historic Villa Borghese. Pascal will be teaching exclusively with Golden Acrylic's Proceed line of Decorative Painting products.
