The Stencil Artisans League, Inc., is an international non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and preservation of the art of stenciling and related decorative painting. Membership provides opportunities for professional growth through education, certification, public awareness and networking.

Stencil Artisans League, Inc. held its first organizational meeting in 1983 and officially incorporated in January 1984. SALI held its first convention in September 1986. Since then membership has grown from 200 to over 2800. At our annual meeting and convention, members come together for five days of sharing, teaching, learning and networking.
